Including Vaughan Williams’ spine-tinglingly beautiful ‘Fantasia on Greensleeves’, the *world premiere* of a dazzling new ‘Fado Fantasy’ by award-winning composer Frederick Viner, an appearance by Dr David Blackmore, author in full 18th century historical costume, and beloved British folk songs including Tom Bowling and Over the Hills and Far Away.

Graziana Presicce recently gained her PhD in Music Performance from the University of Hull. In May 2023 she was the soloist in Franck’s Les Djinns with Hull Philharmonic Orchestra. She also recently gave the recorded premiere of works by the Hull-born composer Ethel Leginska, alongside baritone Lee Tsang, featured on BBC Radio 3.
Amy Butler studied with British concert pianist Martin Roscoe and gained a first class masters degree from the University of Oxford. Recent performance highlights include Stratford-upon-Avon Music Society, Wye Valley Chamber Music, North Westmorland Arts, Warwick Arts Centre, Weymouth Chamber Concerts and the Guild of Musicians and Singers (London).
Steven Goulden studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has appeared as a soloist at venues including Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St David’s Hall (Cardiff) and the Royal Festival Hall (London). He has sung under the baton of some of the nation’s finest conductors including Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Mark Elder.
Dr David Blackmore FSA is a retired museum professional, having spent much of his working life at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. He holds a PhD in military history, is a keen historical re-enactor, and is the author of four non-fiction books. David is also the creator of the fictional ‘Wellington’s Dragoon’ series, which follows the exploits of young Lisbon-born cavalry officer Michael Roberts.
